The Studio and gallery opened in Lewes, Delaware in 1999 by Deborah Appleby as a production blown glass craft business. The design/production blowing studio offered apprenticeships to American and European students, while the adjacent gallery showcased monthly openings of juried shows by makers and artists in various mediums.
In 2006 the Studio began creating outside of Delaware large-scale commissions first for an architectural and then private clients. From 2007-2017 the Studio designed and made work for the US protocol office and focused more on our out-of-state private commissions.
Currently the Delaware “hot shop” is off/cold for the next year as we focus on new work.
